Thanks so much for the well wishes Erica.

I spent all day Thursday working on quilts, pajama pants and other misc things that needed to get done before the surgery. It is 1:15am and exactly 12 hours until I am schedualed to go into the O.R. Still have some gift wrapping to do and not everything I wanted to sew got finished, but OH WELL. I am going to stay up a little longer and get the wrapping done. Since I don't have to leave the house for the hospital unitl 10am, I can sleep in. Besides, I will be sleeping all afternoon anyway.

Just in case I don't get back here until after Tuesday, I want to wish everyone a very MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!! Blessings to ALL!

It is 9:30am and my ride will be here in a half an hour. I can't eat, I am very hungry and I have the shakes. Oh well, by 2pm I should be out and not have a care in the world.

Just got over to the boards just now at 4:35pm, but wanted to let you know you have been in my thoughts all day. Hoping that the surgery went very well and you will be pain free now. I know you are probably recuperating and resting right this minute:+).

Hey everyone...I just talked to Brenda and she wanted me to let you all know that she's home and she's doing ok. She got home earlier this evening (sat) and is getting herself around. She also said that for anyone interested you can call her on her cell phone (im me if you need the #).

Phew, it's over. Now on to recovery!

Hello all! Thanks so much for all your care and concern! I am in more pain than I expected and taking pain pills on a regular basis. Because of the "drugs" my mind is not very clear and I am pretty sleepy most of the time. Family is in town, but leaving tonight. Maybe I will have more time later to post. I just wanted to say thanks for thinking of me and wishing me well. My doctor said all went well, and he was expecting my pain level to be pretty high for a while.
