"Ring the Alarm" - I Finished Week One!! WOHOO!!

Postby VictoriousNat » September 2nd, 2006, 7:04 am

God is so good to me! I made it through week one. A little wooziness - some hunger pangs, but I made it!! I have learned so much in one week.
Thank you guys for all your help in answering and supporting us newbies. And to the Benji girls who started with me, Cyn and Trish, let's keep supporting each other. Hugs to Elizabeth and everyone who checked into my post to encourage me.

AF is here, but I am registering a week one loss of 7.2 lbs. DH just weighed me at 257.4. He tried to cheat me out of whole pound! Fiend! Anyway, we got a calculator  and I was right! He just said oh yeah that's right and headed upstairs to take his shower. I had to follow him and ask if 7.2 is not good and is he not happy for me. He said yes, "that's good." I guess he doesn't want me to get carried away. I have a LONG way to go. But that's also his way....doesn't get excited over much.

Anyway, I did something that I did not think I could do and I made it through one week! I am grateful. :D

I pray week two will be even better.

Congatulations! Getting through week one is a big accomplishment. Especially when you have to still cook for other people. That's great!

Congrats!! You are on your way to slimsville! You will be amazed at how quickly the pounds fall off you. Don't be too focused on the scale as those inches come off even if the pounds don't show it. Be prepared to be wearing clothing you haven't wore in awhile!!

Keep up the great work!

Good going Nat! I promise that Hubby will be more excited when he can start to see the healthy improvements your body is making. The hardest part is over and when the compliments start to roll in you will just be more and more motivated.

Thanks for all the support guys and you are right Drama Queen, Each day is getting easier. I think I was so expecting this to be torture, that I keep LOOKING for things to crave. Very sick! :)
