Following surgery Monday, January 7th, Lauren stayed in what she calls a “Hos-pi-tel” – a medical hotel with 24-hour nursing staff.
Lauren describes herself as having a high pain tolerance; during the first 48 hours post-surgery, she experienced ‘significant discomfort’ and reiterated that she’d describe it ‘more as discomfort more than pain.’
She came home Wednesday and her family is attending to her needs.
When asked how she is doing, she replied,
“I’m doing fantastic!” :yay:
She wanted me to tell you that even though she can’t
see anything yet due to the wraps, the surgery was definitely worth the discomfort. 
Primarily she is lying around
resting; she sends her 
love, and will 
post soon when her movement is not so limited.
