Ah ha! I know as I'm getting older that I'm learning more and getting smarter in some areas.......but the bad thing is that my mind can only get so full before things start spilling out. Imagine your brain as a file cabinet drawer---you pull it open (forehead coming out.
Didn't you ever wonder what those wrinkles in your forehead are for?? They are handles for that file cabinet drawer!)...Anyway, pull out that file cabinet drawer, tuck in the newest knowledge in the front of the drawer and in order to make room, something always falls out the back of the drawer.......thus, that is why you, all of a sudden, cannot remember things that you knew as well as the back of your own hand......those were the things that fell out the back of your drawer when you tucked the new knowledge in............
Yep, tis true.....just try it, learn something new and within a day or two (maybe less) you'll try to access something you've know forever and 'poof' it isn't in your mind anymore.
