Really dumb question

Postby fairladyj » December 26th, 2007, 11:18 am

Hi -

I've been a long-time lurker here, but saw the new monthly special, and am interested in possibly putting in a large enough order to qualify. My question is this - how many boxes of product are in a case? I could not find this info on the TSFL website. Most cases are 12 of something, but didn't want to assume. thanks for the info and Happy and Successful Losing in the NEw Year.

Hey there, FairLady ~

That's not a dumb question! I think you are pretty smart for asking since the price is not very apparent on the website.

You are right, most everything is packed with 12 boxes of product per case. Case lots is a great way to go because you save 10% off the price.

The Medifast 55 and 70 shakes are packaged with 48 boxes per case; so...
48 boxes times $14.50 per box = $696.00 - 10% discount of $69.60 = $626.40 per case.

The bars are $164.70 per case - $15.25 per box times 12 boxes = $183 minus 10% discount of $18.30 = $164.70 per case.

The other Medifast items are 12 boxes times $14.50 = $174.00 - 10% $17.40 = $156.60 per case.

I'm so glad you've been lurking - look at you, you've lost weight and you're feeling great! If you need help, give me a call!

Happy New Year and happy new YOU!

You've posted before I think, but its been a while. Glad to see you again. The one thing that I can see that was missed was the RTD's (just the tiniest of oversights by the wonderful Nancy). Cases used to be $54 (which is a discount of 10%) for a case of 24, but due to the increased cost of shipping due to gas prices, they were recently raised to $62 per case.
Remember with the BeSlim club, you get to start with 5% of the total and free shipping if the order total after the discount is $200.
Non-BeSlim orders pay full shipping if the order is less than $275 and half the shipping if its $275 or more.

Thanks, Mike.

I hesitated to write the price of the RTDs because they are still showing up as $54 per case of 24 and $2.50 per drink. I made an announcement to our MMT Forum Peeps when I received the notice of the price increase which was to go into effect on December 17th and as of this writing (12-27-07), the price is still charging at $54 per case.

The shipping price is rather steep on those RTDs, depending upon the shipping zone. I just had a small order sent to Hawaii which included one case of RTDs, 2 boxes of bars and 5 boxes of soup/chili/shakes for a shipping charge of $27.74...all orders to Hawaii now are charged at a 2nd day rate $$$$$ so it certainly makes sen$e to go with the BeSlim Club and to place a $200 net order.

While some may say the price of the products and shipping is high, I am here to say the price of poor health is higher still…
