Rabbit Poo

Postby alohacate » July 7th, 2006, 7:00 pm

I don't want to offend or gross anyone out but I must ask and seek advice about my rabbit like poo. I used to have one solid BM a day, now I have five little rabbit poo's, really like pellets. What is going on???? I drink over 90 oz of water a day.

Well, you are not eating that many solds, so that could be a part of it. Maybe things are just regulating and spacing out a little more.

Eat like a bunny, poop like a bunny!

Sorry, couldn't help myself! :D Really though, we eat a lot less food on MF than before = less poop.

I know, I thought it was weird too, but I think it's normal. Just think how you are saving more trees' lives! ;)

Now... if you grow a cotton tail... :nutz:

Try adding some fiber!!! Even though you are drinking water, you are not getting much fiber and that alone will cause you to get stopped up.

OMG Supermom, I cannot believe there is a emoticon for that! HA!

I was a bit worried exactly what the explosion would be like... phew! :roflmao:

Instead of Mineral Oil, how's about Flax Seed Oil? At least get some Omega 3 fatty acids :)

(Did you know there is a Japanese children's book all about this topic: Taro Gomi's Everyone Poops? HUGE bestseller, there and here. Strange world eh!)

As a mom I know that is exactly how a dr describes constipation.

If you think about it, you are really only taking in either 5 oz. of beef, and 7 oz. of chicken or any lean meat, and salad. Once your body breaks the food down and you take all the nutrients, you really don't have anything left to come out!! But it is frustrating to know that sometimes I used to have a BM twice in one day and decent ones at that, but no more!! lol

Don't worry about the rabbit like poo. If its (and forgive me but) flowing okay, then no prob. After I had gastric bypass mine was like that, and still have some days now where it is.

I remember Mary Jane Medlock, who often does the Wednesday night support call, said that rabbit pellets (she called them that, too!) were the norm on MF. Just keep drinkin' plenty of water to keep the herd o'turds movin' on. (oh me oh my, the THINGS we post about!)

Thank you all for your support and humor - I nearly fell off my chair in laughter! I will try the "oils" and I agree I would rather have "rabbit pooh v. bear bombs".
