Questions about Muscle fatigue and tremors

Postby hollyhouse » February 9th, 2006, 1:36 pm

Hi,
I have been on this diet for 8 days now. and im noticing weird things. like when i pour myself a glass of water my hand started to tremble as i lift it to my mouth. when the glass is empty i don't have this happen just when the glass is full. its very weird never had this expereince before. am i lacking something in my diet to cause my nerves to do this or is this just muscle fatigue. im starting to panick.

Thanks for any advice or opinions

Holly-

Are you a diabetic? I do that when my blood sugar gets too low....which only started once I began MF...my sugars used to run 300+ so the lows are new to me.

Diabetic

Postby hollyhouse » February 9th, 2006, 3:18 pm

not that i know of. can i suddenly become diabetic and not know it?

Don't you have to eat a piece of candy to stop the tremors?

please tell me no..lol don't need an excuse to eat hehe

maybe this diet is just causing blood sugar to go low?

I just got my period today so i am wondering if that has anything to do with it?

Thanks

Holly

Next time that happens try making yourself a cup of bouillon. I had a similar problem when I started and the bouillon really helped. It could also be low blood sugar and a bar will usually help with that. Let us know how you are feeling and keep us posted!

tremors

Hi There,
I'm with Lisa on this one. Try a cup of bouillon. You are most likely losing quite a bit of fluid and your body doesn't discriminate between the good and the bad. Sometimes when your potassium is a little low this happens. Try the bouillon and see if it helps. If not let us know.

Oh please don't feel like a failure. It's hard to get the momentum going but we are all human here! I cheated the other night on a romantic dinner w/dh - and it stalled me too Slow and steady doesn't mean no steps backwards here and there - the thing is not to give up. Just pick yourself up and keep going. I have my bad days too - some days I seem to breeze right through this - not being hungry or anything - then others, I could eat the inside of my shoe I'm so hungry.

Just stick with it and know that we ALL have those days! They too shall pass!

Hugs!

Cheers -
