Question

Postby mmob » January 23rd, 2006, 11:46 am

I am not sure if this is answered elsewhere - I could not find it.

WHERE do you order chili? I can't find it. I LOVE chili and was really hoping this would help me stick!!

Can you make your own if you follow a certain recipe?? If so - where should I look for that?

Thanks!

mmob-

The way that I order is through my health advisor. I am not sure if you have one but I know that mine is extremely helpful and motivating. Not only does a health advisor help you with ordering but also calls and monitors your progress and you can call them if you have any questions or concerns. Nancy can tell you how to get one if you don't yet have one

If you order through the Web site (I know you got a sample already, but I thought I'd answer anyway), I believe it's with the soups.

You know, it's weird, but I couldn't find it on the TSFL website on Sunday! But now it's there.... Hmmmm!

Geezo, I figured they must've been temporarily out, so I ordered Minestrone Soup instead! :sadblue: Next time, I'll make sure! Too late now! :(

But I guess this will be my 2nd try at working with the Minestrone to see if me not liking it the first time was a fluke.

If not, I might have a soup trade soon... ;)

Chili

Postby Jan » January 23rd, 2006, 8:58 pm

You are right as of this afternoon chili was on back order so we couldn't order it. :( Don't worry it will be back soon. :D We all (well most of us) love it.
I must admit we do "fix it up a bit" though. ;)

Sarah, if you come up with something on the minestrone, please post it. I've tried everyone's suggestions, and I just plain don't like the stuff. Although I DO want to try adding some clam bouillion when it comes in the mail, and see if I can make it taste a little like Manhattan clam chowder.

I love the minestrone. All I add is a beef boullion cube and I let it sit for a good 30 mins to soften the pasta and bring out all the yumminess. If you don't let it sit, it will be gross.

Also, the chili is hands down my favorite meal. I add, beef boullion, garlic powder, minced onion, minced garlic, cumin, chili seasoning, and paprika. (watch your onion here and add to veg count if need be).

i nuke, then let it sit with all the added spices for 15 mins, renuke, let it sit another 15. OMG its so good. I make sure I have a box on hand always!!
Food is fuel. Nothing more.
