Hi Guest,
There's so many diff brands and qualities of jerky, it's really hard to reply to you.

Many have high quantities of salts and diff substances to help with the curing and preservation. Many also have diff sources of sugars, anywhere from brown/regular sugar to sorghum or honey.

I think that may be why it's not on the Medifast prescribed food list.

:coach: Nope.

If it doesn't come in a little packet with a Medifast label
or if it is not listed among the meats in the Quick Start Booklet
or in the approved veggie list, then don't eat it.

Sorry. Don't throw tuhmaters at the messenger... :tomato:

:hmmm: We want our peeps to follow the prescribed plan so they will have optimal health and maximum deflabbing.

P.S. If you're hungry, drink an extra shake.

Having an extra shake when you've got the :bib: munchies will not put you out of ketosis; the fat-burner keeps ya melting away and satisfies the hunger with a nutritionally balanced meal.

If you even have to have the :buddies: extra shake within an hour of another, it is still the better choice to make than going off the program.

Oh, I had a great shake a while ago while I was working in the yard: Dutch Choc 55 with a healthy glug of Sugar Free DaVinci Gourmet Chai Spice Syrup.

I made it the 'Quick and Dirty' way - in my Fast Shake shaker jar with cool water from the refer and the :bouncie: boingy ball from my Bottle Blender.

I let it sit for 10 minutes while I made a :puma: dash to the sandbox and made a quick visit with the  husband and then :guzzle: slurped it with a straw so I wouldn't get lipstick on the jar. (I :x hate it when that happens!)

If I had the time to really do it right, I'd have taken it for a :drive: ride in my Magic Bullet or blender.

It was awesome - better than any old piece of dried up beef that almost rips your front teeth out when ya bite it off.

Cheers! :beerbeer:

Sure, you may use the Spray Butter - it may make your days a little brighter since you have no teeth - it makes it easier to swallow chicken and fish!

Seeing as how I live so close to Sea World maybe I could get a side job - no wait, there are no skinny Shamu's - that would have been ideal BEFORE MF. Mytime

Hey, My Time, which SeaWorld do you live near? I'm in San Diego ... although only for another few weeks.
