Question

Postby Tai78 » May 20th, 2004, 7:38 am

:?: Hello everyone. I've stalked this forum a few times to get some of my most burning Medifast questions answered. I've been on the program for four days now and the scale has not budged. Is my body trying to fight this? What gives? I've been following the complete program to a 'T'.

Tai,

Welcome.

Your "none scale movement" could be related to 100 different things.

Type of scale, when you weigh, what you weigh in.

Can you tell us a little about you, (perhaps some stat's) and your Medifast regimine?

Shake status, times, full fast? Modified? Water? Are you a male or female?

It works, and we will help you help it work!!

4-days is fairly new, but you should see some movement by now...

Well, I am a 26 year old female. I was in the Army for about 6 years. I am now a full time stuent. I have gained 65 pounds since getting out of the Army in Spring 2002. Not as active as I use to be. I've never had any issues w/ my weight before. I guess because i was always pretty active. Here's what my daily Medifast regime looks like:

8am- 1st shake
11am- 2nd shake
2pm- 3rd shake
5pm- Bar
8pm- Soup
9pm- 4th shake (if needed, usually don't)

Snacks: 2pkgs of crackers
Broth 2 cups per day
Pickles 2 per day
Drinks: water, 8 oz. every waking hour to be sure I get it all in.
diet cokes 2 cans per day, sometimes less, always caffeine free.

Let's see. I think that's about it. I think my body is trying to fight this but eventually it will have to give in.

Well, this seems like the picture perfect schedule to me. Let's see what happens after your "STRICT" (remember the weekend is coming) following this weekend. I can virtually guarantee, with no medications, or health related stuff (being a woman does not count!!) you will lose, and soon.

Please keep us posted! We will help you make this work!

Tai ~

Your regimine looks good. Only ONE bag of crackers per day, 'though.

Go ahead and have that 4th shake (or oatmealor soup at 9) if you're hungry and also if you are very active. Typically we say 5-6 Medifast meals for the Complete Program unless you are rather active or have some health issues. Your bod may want that 6th item and maybe that's why it is with holding the pounds. Some women do better with the Medifast 70 if they are active.

How is it going today?
