Question for the ladies

Postby Taszi17 » April 19th, 2006, 11:23 am

Hey guys this is the first period I have had since starting and man oh man I am really very dizzy today. I keep seeing salt as helping this out and I have done that but it is still very much there. Does anyone else get like this when they start and what do you do and does it go away when the ol train has rolled on by?

I am new, so I cannot attest to that. I have read about getting through PMS, though. It is recommended that you have the shakes and all of the daily "extra's" that are allowed until it passes. Drink lots of water. Let me know how this all works out. I will be facing the big visit soon.

If you have not tried it I would try regular bouillon not the low sodium one and try to get some rest. It does get better with each passing month so just hangin there!

Okay I sucked it up and loaded up on salt and no relief so went to the doc and they gave me valium for the inner ear so i can get some relief from this crap. Hopefully it will work. Down some more on the ol scale so no way am I giving this up it is working like a charm. thanks for everyones support it seems like the first week was hell, second week I had a cold and now the third week I have an inner ear infection but as long as that scale is moving I will keep trucking along heheheheh.

Hi Taszi ~

Oh, I am sorry that you have been sick. :pet: It takes a while for an inner ear infection to clear up and no wonder you are feeling woozy.

Yes, if a person has felt great and then suddenly feels weak, puny or generally washed out often having some regular bouillon will remedy the situation. It sounds like in your case there was more going on. Be sure to drink plenty of :water: water - that will also help to get rid of the left over cold gunk by thinning it down so it can drain out...how does one delicately describe snot?

Taszi, the scale is moving in the right direction so that's good news. You survived Boot Camp (the first week), you've gotten through most of the cold and now you are on your way to thinny bliss - keep on going!

:hmmm: Gosh, Folks...even when we are not on a weight loss program we have rough weeks, right?

We get colds, Aunt Flo comes by, birthdays and special events happen and look at us - all those things STILL occur and yet we get skinnier each week by doing the things that lead to skinniness:

Eating breakfast within the first hour of :bouncie: leaping out of bed

Eating :eat: every three hours

Eating low fat meals

:weightlift: Exercising most every day

 Planning our meals in advance

Hanging out :stroll: with our losing friends for  support and  encouragement

Weighing and monitoring our progress

We are having fun! :bouncieball:

:laughlaugh:

Maybe we can get a MakeMeThinner Group rate...calling on Dr. Schnozzolah to redesign our beaks as Dr. Billy Belly does the tummy tightening...
