Question about making stir-fry.

Postby ascicles » August 30th, 2006, 9:42 am

I want to stir-fry chicken and veggies tonight, but I have a question. Since the chicken is raw, do I need to cook it seperately in another pan, or can I immediately put it in with the chicken?

Or...do I cook the chicken in the wok and then add the veggies to it?

Thanks!

Yes cook the chicken first. If you put them in together you're likely to end up with underdone chicken or overdone veggies. When the chicken looks just about done throw in the veggies and cook them up. That's how I usually do it.

They are right on Manly!! If you start it all at the same time, you will have zuchini mush and raw chicken. Get a good brown started on your chicken, and then add the zuch and whatever else you are cookin with it!! YUMMEEEEE!!
