Hi there!

I have a terrible terrible cough (dry cough) for past 2 days. My question is does anyone know which medicine I can take for it without messing up my ketosis phase?

When I was sick just recently, I was told to be sure it was sugar free. They have different brands of sugar free syrups and cough drops out there. Make sure you read the ingredients or ask a pharmacist. I was taking NyQuil without thinking of it and between the alcohol and sugar I was stalled and I hadn't even cheated!

You can nyquil and dayquil capsules.

Look for the cough syrup that's specifically for diabetics. It is sugar-free (and dye-free, and something-else-free, too, but I can't remember what that something-else is). Doesn't taste all that great, but then what cough syrup does?

And make sure you're getting LOTS of water. I mean LOTS.

I did get some "diabetic" version of cough medicine. Hope it works! I will make sure to drink LOTS LOTS LOTS of water!
