I need to do something differently because I cannot get below 196.5. I've been over it and back down but not under it. This morning I woke up feeling a little lightheaded, but I ate and drank enough water yesterday. I took a dose of miralax a little over a week ago. Maybe I need another dose? I don't want to complain at all because I'm amazed that I'm even where I am. I guess I need to adjust my supplements. I only have rtds and bars, sometimes an oatmeal. I got tired of mixing the powders, but I might have to go back to that since that worked for over 3 months.

Thank you everyone for stopping by and looking at my new jacket! All of your kind comments really made my day :)

And thanks, Robin, for saying the jacket looks great now. I'd like a little more room in it due to the rolls on my back that are sticking around. But even with the rolls, I'm wearing it the first moderately cool day we have.

Hols, you're right - the 190s are a pain! I finally got below 196.5 today to a whopping 196! I'll take it. A half a pound in two weeks isn't much to shout about but I'll take it.

I have the opposite problem of Biki - instead of realizing that I am a 16/14 in most things, I am convinced that I should try on size 12s everywhere I go, lol. There are a few pairs of pants that I can wear a 12 in which just blows my mind. I have to stop myself from buying them just because they fit. Hard to do. I lose that battle more often than I win it.

Your post had given me an idea. Some day this week when I am really bored I am going to go to Macy's and try on some 12's and 10's. I bet some maker, somewhere, makes some pants that I can wedge my ass into in a 12 or a 10. I haven't even tried a 12 since I have been on MF, even though my 14 jeans are baggy on me.

You're gonna be surprised, Biki! I know somebody (lots of somebodies) makes some 10s and 12s that you'll fit. Yesterday, a pair of French Connection size 12 pants (wide leg) fit me. I can fasten a few 12s in BCBG (fasten does not = fit) so you should be good there, too with the lower sizes. Can't wait to hear about it!

I'm tellin' ya, bebes. Go to Chicos! I always feel skinny there. I wear a size -0-!!!!!!! You will probably wear a 1 or .5, yur gettin' so tiny. And I think they train the staff to say things like "Honey, you are swimming in that" and "Sweety, we could fit 2 of you in there".

Hey Hol,

As I said in Nickie's journal, there must have been something in the air yesterday because I picked up 7 pairs of shoes  Fortunately, all of them were on sale (Macy's had a buy 2 get 20% off then you got 15% off for using your Macy's card and I had another 15% coupon on top of that). The other pairs came from TJ Maxx, including a pair of Elie Tahari black knee boots. All in all, a good day for shoes!

All of my scales now have me under 200. The last one was holding out for quite a while. Mini goal: 189 by Sept 10. If I'm there, I'm signing up for a fitness challenge at a local gym. If I make my 100 day goal of 165, I will weigh less than I did my freshman year of high school. That was my skinny year when I could wear clothes from the juniors section.

cant beat Macy's sales.
I still have big feet, but they are much thinner now so I can wear flats or anything else beside my trusty Danskos.
I never find shoes in my size at TJ Max. But today I found 3 wool shawl/capes. I prefer them to coats here in Oregon.
anyhow, have some Saturday night fun ;)

The capes/shawls sound like nice finds, Hols. What color are your lizard flats? Like I need to even think about another pair of shoes!

Robin, you were so right about Slim in 6. Ramp it up is hard. That is the only workout on the DVD that I've done and the last set of tricep exercises and the leg lifts on the floor are too much for me to get through. I keep going, but I don't do as many as they do on the dvd. I like how there isn't any jumping around, though, because the floors here make so much noise that I worry about disturbing the people in the apartment below me.

To chime in on the size issues.....some of my favorite jeans are Polo Jeans Company's Saturday Jeans. They are kind of a boyfriend cut and I can always buy a size smaller than everything else in my closet. How's that for instant gratification?!!
