Congrats on the 40# club.
:bravo: :whoohoo:

I am looking forward to the day I can run the 3K. Lets see, that should be about 8-9 weeks since I only started yesterday! You keep me going!

I can see a huge difference in your pictures. I showed my hubby and he said "far out". (Sorry, he's just an old hippie! ) I can never figure out why people don't see it, or maybe they just don't know what to say.

Thanks for stopping by my journal, I appreciate your words of encouragement.
Reached Goal Nov 2007 61.5 lbs lost

Thanks Mickey! The 8 to 9 weeks doing the couch to 5k will go by pretty quickly - at least they did for me. Thank your husband for me, too. It really helps to know that people can tell a difference.

Good luck with the jogging!

I can't wait to get my sports bra so I can add a little jogging. You are definitely an inspiration. I have been walking up to 3-4 miles for 8 months so definitely think I am ready to amp up the activity a little.

I was up a little early and doing what I love to do-troll the internet for BCBG. Overstock dot com has quite a selection of both regular BCBG and To the Max, the younger line. The To the Max has better prices, because they are lower to begin with, but I also saw some stuff in both lines that you could wear into fall so you don't have to worry about summer's too short a lease. The only annoying part is that some of the pieces are only available in a small or x-small, and I am just not brave enough to buy a small yet. Even when I weighed 117 pounds I usually wore a medium. However, I was never the workout QUEEN you are! :) But check it out. Lots of cute longer sleeved jersey dresses. Ebay has so many halter tops, enough already!!! :x
Oh, wanted to add, Overstock and most sites have a lot of bargains (not just BCBG!) so they can clear the way for fall. It is still hot here for two months but I am on a shopping moratorium until I reach goal.

Thanks for the info, Biki! I haven't seen anything on ebay in a while that I was interested in. I will definitely check out overstock. I'm ordering Slim in 6 today thanks to Robin's recommendation. I don't want to pay full price, but I've had a recent bad experience with ebay so I'm just going to order through beachbody.

I had too much peanut butter last night :x I don't really even like peanut butter but I have been craving cake for a few days now and peanut butter was the closet thing in my pantry. I had probably more like 1.5 to 2 tablespoons. My stomach hurt last night for a while after I ate it so that was a good lesson. 4 more days until my new 100 day challenge...I won't be in onderland but I'm closer than I've been in almost 4 years. Onward and downward :)

I was going through my workout tapes the other day (just organizing not considering actually opening and using any of them!!!  ) and I have Slim in 6 and Yoga Booty Ballet that haven't been opened yet. I also have Power 90 and the next step up which was P90X or something like that. I've got about 3 or 6 (yeah, I wasn't looking too closely, makes me feel quite foolish for buying and never using) pilates DVDs, too. I have some Richard Simmons VHS tapes that I bought on eBay a bazillion years ago that hadn't ever been open and heaven forbid that I should be the one to break the shrink wrap.............there is more, but I think you get the idea. I've got the materials to exercise (universal gym set up in the attic, Nordictrak ski machine in the attic -- yeah, huge attic that can be used as an exercise room, I've got an elliptical machine and a treadmill downstairs....free weights, bands........just don't have ambition nor desire).

Now, I'm depressed...............

I paid for a dress and I never received it. Called the seller and everything. She kept promising to send it. I had to file a claim with paypal. Still waiting on a resolution.

Sounds like I need to come your house! If you want to get rid of any of those (especially Power 90 or Slim in 6) let me know :) I have a paypal account so the transaction would be smooth.

That is sweet of you to think of helping me out with the guilt of having the new things sitting around unused, but I will keep them and I do believe that I will begin doing some exercise once again.......hopefully soon!

Rotten about the dress on eBay. I had a bad go round with a young man over an item that he said he sent and never had. Once I filed a complaint with Paypal, then he finally mailed it. I think he just was a procrastinator and it wasn't important to him to put sending it at the top of his list of stuff to do  until I said 'make him give me my money back'. The little twit! Hope your problem is resolved with either the dress appearing (in excellent shape) or your money refunded soon.

I'm so sorry. Twice I haven't received my items and my money was refunded. I got lucky.

That will be great if you start soon because maybe we will start the same system together. They have the Yoga Booty Ballet kit at Target. I almost bought it yesterday but decided I wanted something that included resistance.

Boy if you put us all together we would have quite a collection of workout videos! I tried Slim in 6 about a year ago and couldn't handle it, but like T I may try again someday. I am just so darn uncoordinated. :( Then like some kind of maniac watching infomercials I got The Firm, OK that one was just embarrassing for me! I have an old Jane Fonda step aerobics tape where they are all wearing these very 80's workout clothes, shinny tights, scrunch socks and the whole thing. I do actually use it in the winter though because I have the step and it's easy to follow. I also have the 6 week makeover. So what do I choose? C2K5  Maybe when winter sets in and I am stuck indoors I will try something like Slim in 6, just maybe...

I thought of joining Curves and called today, but Geez Louise, they wanted too much $$$. Maybe they will have some special soon. I see it as a short term solution so I don't want to join for a whole year.
