Thanks Robin, T, Biki, Mickey, Sojo, Hols and Chynna for your kind words!

Posting that before pic made me realize what terrible shape I was in. I really didn't know how bad it was until I put those two pics side by side. When my office mate found the pic he said didn't you wear that same shirt yesterday? No, I hadn't worn the same shirt the day before and I couldn't understand why he thought I looked the same in that picture as I do now after losing 40 pounds. Maybe that's why no one else has said anything because I look the same? I don't look the same to myself and I don't look the same in pictures, but I guess it's possible I look the same to people who see me regularly. My office mate is gone on vacation until August 7 so maybe by then he won't think I look like I weigh 250 when I actually weigh 200.

But on to brighter news...I jogged 5k again yesterday and this time at a constant, faster pace. Such a great feeling to know that I can jog a little over 3 miles. I really never thought I would actually be jogging 3 miles, let alone 2 miles.

And in even sunnier news... I'm in the 40 pound club!! I lost 3.5 pounds this week (Saturday to Saturday). Today is also 3 months to the day I started MF. I lost 41 pounds in 3 months. No way! I really lost 41 pounds? I lost 50 pounds from January to October in 2003 but most of those months (and about 20-30 pounds) I wasn't dieting; I just had to walk longer distances to get where I was going and I was eating less food in general but still not eating food that was good for me.

I'm glad to be here.

Thanks for all of your encouragement, ladies!

Yesterday I jogged a little over 5k before I even realized it. Crazy, I know, but I was watching a movie while jogging and I covered the display screen on the treadmill so by the time I check my distance, I had already run 3.1 miles. This is almost unimaginable to me. I still don't know if it's me who is actually running or if I just make it all up and somehow get all tired and sweaty after 30 minutes of imagining that I am running. That is how unreal it is for me to say that I can jog 5 kilometers.

Its my TOM which helps explain why I've been so hungry lately. Glad to know it wasn't just some strange thing. I'm going to try to throw her for a loop by doing a spinning class this evening and see if she can retain all that water after an hour of spinning. Whatever it takes!

Hey queenie. Wow all I have to say is <img src="http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/36/36_2_68.gif" alt="SmileyCentral.com" border="0"><img border="0" src="http://plugin.smileycentral.com/http%253A%252F%252Fimgfarm%252Ecom%252Fimages%252Fnocache%252Ftr%252Ffw%252Fsmiley%252Fsocial%252Egif%253Fi%253D36%252F36_2_68/image.gif">
Can I ask a question when you first started the running program did you do it every day. Or do you do it 3 times a week. Maybe one of these days I will do it.

Thanks, Katie!

I did the program as written. I only did 3 days a week. I went to Curves the other 3 days of the week and I either rest the 7th day or do some other type of workout. I'm still following that plan now (jog 3 days, curves 3 days and something new the 7th day).

Hope that helps!

Nevermind. TOM got the best of me. I'm not sticking around for the spinning class. I'm going home to lay on my couch. Maybe I will feel like getting on the treadmill later.
