morning Queen,
good idea on checking out your calories, also you do not want to hurt your self and then not be able to work out at all. That would be BAD :x ]

drink up.

Awwww, Tawanda

That made my day :) Thanks for saying that. You and Hol are encouraging me to stay focused. Hope you're having a great day and that you looked in the mirror this morning and saw the skinny you that you are. My problem is slightly different in that I already see the skinny me even though there are some rolls and bellies (upper and lower :) ) in the way. We all have our struggles, right  I wanted that smiley to have a smile on his face while hunching his shoulders.

Happy Saturday, everyone!

I did get all of my water in yesterday - 4.5 liters.

I just got back from Curves and to my surprise, my name was on the top of the list for the most weight and inches lost since May 1, 2007 (although I only started on June 5). The manager is so proud of me. She made sure to mention that the other ladies had a month head start and I still lost more inches. Good way to start the day.

I'm down 2 pounds for the week. The 200s are trying hard to stay on my scale but I'm gonna do everything I can to send them packing for good. 13 pounds and they're gone.

It's weird not having Biki here since yesterday.

Queenie you are doing so well and your bubbliness is contagious. There are a couple of curves around here and $39 sounds so reasonable. But I have so much exercise equipment around here my hubby would probably think I was nuts.

You don't have to buy an expensive bike - you can just go to Walmart and buy one that is under $100 to just get you started. I did that about 10 years ago (oh wait that might mean that they are not under $100 if I got it 10 years ago....ooops sorry) and rode that bike for several years to see if I still enjoyed it. It wasn't until about 3 years that I invested about $250 or $300 on the bike I currently have. My next bike will probably be a Trek so I will spend more. But I did find out that I love to bike.

You too have a great weekend and Happy Saturday!!

Thanks for the info, Sue.

I went ahead and downloaded FitDay. I entered my food for today and my calories are going to be under 900 - definitely not a day to exercise. I'm glad I did that because I was going to do the Shape calorie-busting walk. I don't think I need to burn 300+ calories if I'm only taking in 850 or so.

It's long time I've not been able to catch up on others' journals.. I'm happy to see you are doing so great Queenie!

...4.5 litres.. how is it that you aren't up all night in the bathroom?? I drink maybe 3 a day (I'm terrible at keeping track, really need to work on that).. and I'm waking 2 or 3 times a night to go.. even though I try to do most of my drinking in the morning/early afternoon.

Hey Kelly, thanks for stopping by :) I usually don't ever have to get up to go the bathroom at night. At first I did, but the more water I drink regularly, the less I run to the bathroom.

Ode to Biki Gratitude Pic

I'm always inspired by Biki's gratitude pics, so I'm posting one for today.
