Hi there! New to your journal, one month new to MF! And we have tons in common! Same age, same height, I have an almost 4 daughter (and baby twins), and I am from FL! I dont live there anymore, lived in NC for 5 years now. But I wanna go "home"!!

Love your journal! I am a stay at home Mom, so I'm not out there with all the lunch breaks and treats staring me in the face. Theres not a lot to do here so I dont find myself out late at night at Disneyworld (anymore), but I just wanted to encourage you to stick to it!
I lost 15 lbs the first 3 weeks, and those 15 lbs made a HUGE difference in my comfort level, in the compliments, heck I may even let people take photos of me with my kids this Holiday!
So here are my thoughts...Lay low for awhile, leave your check card at home so you cant indulge anywhere (take an emergency check), and try not to go out for one month!! You'll save money and avoid sticky fattening situations. Enjoy your sweet daughter, ignore the "weekend rush" for awhile...Sometimes I think this ride we are on is discplining us in more ways than just food. It's teaching us not to be excessive in any arena.

i'm over yesterday.. the scale was acting crazy this morning... it started at 218, and i thought, that's what you get... then when i took off my jammie's it was 216! Okay, cool... i got on like 6 times to make sure. Then instead of leaving the scale alone as i should've, i continued to get on it throughout the morning..

217.... 216.... 217.... it even said 214 at one point! I knew that was wrong and got back on it said 217. okay. back on MF today 100%.

Lady T ... you putting my quote in there brought some thoughts back.... maybe I should be re reading my journal from time to time! i already know the next few days will be hard... and knowing me.... all i really want is to get on the scale tuesday morning and not have gained weight. If i can maintain where i am the next few days. I know that sounds bad... but I know me (just like Lady T said) so i know what to expect....

Karli~ I hear you... believe me, I do... thanks (like always) for the encouraging words! They will be in my head I'M SURE when i'm having a difficult time. My friends coming isn't going to be the hardest part.. i've already 'laid down the (eating) law' to her, so i'm sure she will be supportive. If i give in it would be of my own demise. :twisted:

okay... well off i go... last minute stocking stuffers to get! I will definitely be posting pics of the doggie surprise after Xmas! I can not wait to see her face! I'm sure i'll be back on here before then.

I am especially worried because days ago I leopardized her and put her face on Marilyn's body and never heard a peep back....unusual! Maybe she isn't a Marilyn fan...

UGGHH!! I'm HERE!

Sorry everyone... whoa... i feel like i was sucked into some time warp! Okay, okay.... I"M BACK. I knew i was gonna fall off a few days, but wow... it just got carried away. No excuses though. Thanks all of you for checkin in!

The puppy surprise went GREAT!!! She was soooo excited! We waited til the end of the presents and there was a stuffed dog at the bottom of her sack, and she said, that's okay, Santa said it would be difficult to bring a real dog. (it was cute though, cuz she jumped out of bed that morning asking if there was a dog in the house) So after a few minutes, my neighbor brought the dog up... I'll post the pics later. She was ecstatic!! It was great!!!! So we are adjusting. She never leaves the poor dog alone! But he doesnt' seem to mind. He still doesn't have the whole 'where to poop and pee' thing down.... i'm working on it. He is super cute though. Very playful...

um... as for me.... i haven't been tooo bad.... i haven't been compliant either. SO i'm back on this morning. Only 23 days til i go to San Diego, and would like to lose 10 lbs by then. No holiday parties, no get togethers, nothing out of the ordinary, so it should be VERY easy to stay on plan now. I didn't get on the scale, i'm going to wait til Sunday for rollcall. then I will update my ticker and go from there. I have enough products for now, so hopefully 10 down in 3 weeks. That's do able. I thought about everyone on here alot lately, and that i was gonna get beat up for not checking in.... :oops:

okay, okay... i'm back.

So i'm not going to go into a whole 'what i've done wrong' or beat myself up. I knew i wasn't going to stay on for Xmas... it was just extended. And you know what? when I'm not where I could've been for my vacation, it's my own fault! So time to move forward.

Okay, gotta catch up on everyone's journals and i definitely have to check out my LEOPARDAZATION! (is that a word?!) I haven't seen it yet!!
