Put me in the 40# club, Unca!

Good morning, good morning, boy was it a good morning! It almost didn't happen, it almost stuck at 39.5 pounds, but a few laps around the apartment and the glorious 40 pound mark hit.

Very cool, indeed.

Lauren,

Congradulations! Amazing what even just a small amount of extra activity can accomplish. We often forget that that little extra effort, like parking farther away, or taking the stairs, makes a huge differance in the long run.

Keep up the great work shaking to thinville.

Hey, guys, thanks so much for all the support and accolades! I do feel great, and can certainly see the difference. It's funny how you look for changes all the time in your body. Laying down it looks flatter, taking up less space in a chair, whatever, just these tiny moments of "wow," you know? I have a lot of those. I feel more confident, refreshed, and energetic too.

Anyway, I have been reluctant to post pics, but I'll start digging for any before pictures that actually show my body (didn't take many of those!), and send a new one your way soon. It's hard to change from the comforting anonymity to going "public." Does that make sense to anyone?

Well, I am thrilled and you all should be as well, everyone's kicking a--!

Oops, that was me. I keep the forum open all day on my desktop while I am working (figure I'll get support through osmosis), and sometimes it periodically logs off.

Anyway, the big hug and thank you above was from moi.

Hehe Lauren,

I deeply encourage you to post pictures of yourself.

First, we are ALL dealing with the same problem.

Second, we all want to see you!!

Third, posting pictures of yourself makes you realize that you've done so much progress. That's the feeling I got when I posted my pictures, and I wasn't expecting that!!

And I'd say the opposite of you, going from anonymity to public will be "comforting", it will further enhance your "proudness" feeling of what you acheived!!

Here here Lauren!

Going publis is just so SO..........exposed. I have photos but they are safely on a memory card in my camera. Been thinking about it but am not quite ready yet. So Lauren............ you go first!

The little pleasures start adding up. Who knew? Did you know those seats at the movies got bigger (along with bathroom stalls) and well personally, I CANNOT stop crossing my legs.

I am SO not as demanding as difficult as once thought --- although, I still want what I want when and how I want it and well, is there anything wrong with that?
;)

Ohmygod, this is like peer pressure! haha People, I assure you that I will not be your fearless leader into picture world. It's hard enough TAKING the pictures, let along posting them! Besides, most of my befores are not digital, so I'd have to mail them to Unca, blah blah, it could be awhile. (excuses, excuses)

I'll *think* about it, but feel free to shove someone else into the limelight!

:byebye: Buh-bye, 40 Pounds

 Hello, Life! :yippee:

Welcome to da 40 Pound Club!

P.S. Get those pictures to us ASAP!!!

Come on, Kidlets!

It is so freeing to do so!

It is really fun to read what others have to say, too. It really fills your cup to log on and read something nice someone says about you.

It is scary.

We already  love one another and no matter what we do or say (or eat), we are a family and we stick together and help each other.

It is fun to see each other.

I like to see what’s in the background of the pictures, too - do you? Yup, I am nosey! Some of you send your pictures to me and you have interesting desk décor!

One Cutesy ( who shall remain nameless) used to send me a picture she snapped of herself at her desk about every two weeks. The pictures are always just a snort out of focus as her arms are not very long! But I could see her face thinnin’ and she was  grinnin’ and on the shelf behind her were water bottles and a box of shakes!

Your pictures delight us!

Gwenski, I have asked you before to reveal yourself. Come on! Selfish!

Yepper! We wanna see every one!
