So I JUST got a shipping notice for my order. I have two shakes left and the rest are soups. Probably not enough to get me through till Tuesday, which is more than likely when the order will get here.

So my question is, I have these shakes that I bought before MF (still good) but they take skim milk instead of water. I noticed that if we don't have MF, we can drink skim milk. Would using these shakes keep me in ketosis? All of the nutritional information is almost exactly the same as MF, with slightly higher calories.

adding milk will add carbohydrates, but that might be ok depending on what the nutrition of those shakes is.

If you are concerned about staying in ketosis try to keep your carbs around 80-85g on the days you are going to have to wing it.

From the MF nutritionist:
When you are doing the program you generally get about 80-85 grams of carbohydrates. Your protein intake is about a 1 to 1 ratio with carbohydrates. It may be higher or lower depending on the protein portion you choose. Fat intake is usually about 25-35 grams or less a day.

Also, of course, watch your calorie intake and try to keep it between 800-1000.

You can also try adding skim Carb Countdown milk instead of regular skim milk.

Personally, I'd just go with mostly soups for a few days, if that's what you have.

you could also do 2 lng and then 2-3 supplements a day.
that should keep you in ketosis and limit your calories.
it may also float you long enough to get your shipment.

you could also consider buying a box of s.b. bars and using one of those a day nstead of an mf bar. there are lots of ways to get by without getting too sidetracked.

good luck.

In a pinch, you can also simply have 8 oz of skim milk as a supplement.

From what part of the company do you hail? Perhaps someone could get you some. (I keep a swap box for just such occassions.)

I also wouldn't rely solely on the shipping notice. Mike and I got our notices AFTER we got our boxes. Call the company and ask for the tracking info to see when it will arrive.

I also received my shipping notice like two days after my package arrived.
