Hi guys! I wanted to see what kind of advice you folks might have for me... I recently found out I'm pregnant and am trying to figure out a good plan for my eating. Today, I did the 5 and 1. I had a salad for lunch with chicken. For dinner, I had my chicken noodle soup and added some veggies, as well. I also had about 1/2 cup of whole grain pasta w/ sauce. I feel like I certainly need to eat more to make sure the baby is getting what it needs, yet at the same time, I fear inflating back up to my beginning weight in NO TIME if I'm not careful transitioning... I'm looking for input and advice. Both yesterday and the day before I was flat out starving all day. Even during and after each of my meals. That was my first clue that maybe I should be eating a little more.
I really wanted to try to keep on the 5 and 1 for a few more weeks, but I felt like my body was telling me to eat something more, over the past few days. I'm going camping this weekend and look forward to going for walks and bike rides while we're gone! Also, I will continue eating my 5 mf meals daily, but need to know opinions on "What to add".
