13 pounds lost in first week of MF!!!

Postby Lisa145 » August 10th, 2007, 8:19 am

Granted, I have a lot to lose and I'm sure much of it is water, but I am so EXCITED!!! The first week was a breeze and I am committed to reaching my goal with MF. I can't wait until after week 3 when I can add some exercise!! :D

Yay, Lisa!! :whoohoo:

Every three hours, ever shake, ever drink of water, you're that much closer to your goal. It's not always that easy, but it is that simple!

Thanks, Biki and Diana!

Diana, it's so great to meet you and hear of your success. I basically have the same amount of weight to lose as you do/did, so you are a major source of inspiration for me. :D When did you begin your MF journey?

Wow, Lisa, thanks. I'm humbled and feeling a bit undeserving.

I started March 16, 2006. I lost 55 lbs in 4 months. After that, I had a little detour off course and have struggled staying compliant at times, which has really slowed my progress. Lisa, don't do it!! Stay compliant!! Restarting is much harder -- unlike other things in life, the 1st time is as easy as it gets. I did shed 100 lbs in a year, but I could have been there much, much sooner. I am, however, solidly back on track thanks to Nancy, folks here, and of course my dh Mike. My new timeline for getting to goal is Jan 1, 2008 (actually, as I do the calculations in my head just now, I think Valentine's Day is more reasonable). My next mini goal, however, is 170 by September 15-- then I will no longer be obese but merely overweight!

Go get 'em, Lisa!! It's life changing in so many ways!

WOW!! You are truly AWESOME!!! I know how hard it can be to get back on track when it comes to weight loss, so you are even MORE of an inspiration than I originally thought!!!

Thank you for sharing a bit of your story with me. :D I'm so happy to have found this forum!!!!

Hey Lisa! You are doing awesome! I can't wait to hear how you are doing each week, so please keep (me) US posted! :)
Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.

Start Weight 326.7 ~ My short term goal will put me at 250!

Started June 19th 2008. First Mini Goal 76.7 pounds.
