20 Pounds Gone!! (Make that 21)

I was probably the biggest skeptic of Medifast.... really. When my doctor suggested it I rolled my eyes and said here we go again - I had already been placed on Meridia and a low fat diet - lost no weight. None. That was over a month ago. Now three weeks on Medifast and 21lbs lighter my next appointment with my Doc will be on July 20th - needless to say I am going to give her (my doctor) a GREAT BIG HUG. It hasn't always been easy. But thank God for this Forum and to all of you wonderful people - I feel like I can see my goal straight ahead........... Thank you everyone :lol: :lol: :lol:

Aloha! Alohacate! :D Wow! I am so thrilled for you!! I know its hard to believe that this stuff really works this well, isnt it? I was in a car accident in Kaneohe in 2004. Thats when my weight started creeping up on me. I was about 140 lbs when we got to Hawaii in 2003. So, with the accident, and a gall bladder sugery, and then having a complete hysterectomy, I felt like I was destined to be heavy. The scales just kept climbing. And the really scary part is, that I felt like I couldnt do anything about it. Dont you just wish everyone knew about medifast. Ok, well maye not "everyone", ha ha. But at least all the really nice people.LOL You keep up the great work, Cate! Did you know that Castle hospital in Kailua has a Medifast support group that meets every 3rd thursday? I try to go to them, it is nice to meet other people in the same boat youre in. Plus, sometimes we swap products, and one of the ladies brings in stuff to sample for us to try. You should come!

I had my gall bladder removed too & felt the same way. I didn't know about the "meetings", think I will try and make it this month -thanks.

umm how come your not in the 20 pounds yet?

Start Weight 326.7 ~ My short term goal will put me at 250!

Started June 19th 2008. First Mini Goal 76.7 pounds.

That is so awesome! The thing I like best about MF is it's so easy to motivated yourself when you see such dramatic results. It wasn't long before I didn't WANT to cheat because I didn't want to slow this train down!

Your doc's gonna be so happy for you! I'm so happy for you! WAY TO GO!

Congratulations Cate!! 21 pounds of flab gone in three weeks. Ain't Medifast grand?? You must be feeling great!! Can't wit to hear what your Doctor has to say about your progress.

Congratulations Alohacate! 21 lbs. in 3 weeks is awesome! It must be wonderful living in Hawaii. I had my wedding and honeymoon in Hawaii 11 years ago and did not ever want to leave! One day I want to go back with my children and show them how beautiful it is there. Maybe, if I ever reach my goal weight that will be my reward to myself! Keep up the great work and Aloha!
