40 pounder club sign me up!

Postby sheri1103 » September 20th, 2007, 4:16 pm

Wahoo! I feel like the little engine that could "I know I can. I know I can."
After a couple of false starts this is the most I have done. It feels so good.

I actually went out to lunch today with a good friend. I checked the online nutriton guide and did not see anything that would fit my plan. So I packed my little cooler bag with a shaker jar, a shake, a bar, and a packet of the chicken fast soup. (it has been cold here!). And when the waitress came I asked for:

a coffee mug
some hot water
some cold water
a glass of ice tea
and told her to make the garden salad a double (I thought my friend was going to crack up!).

I have learned to eat and drink more slowly. And you know what? I had a very enjoyable lunch and left feeling quite satisified.

3 cheers for Medifast!!!!!!!!! :cleader:

Good for you being brave enough to bring it to a restaraunt. I have done that myself. Congratulations :whoohoo:

Thank you one and all for nice words! It is what keeps me going.

I just have to shake my head at my experience this time around. I am so committed plus it is a natural part of my life now - which tells me the "Life style change" is taking place. Whether I am at the store or out to eat I buzz on by all the stuff I used to gorge on. No feelings of deprivation or craving at all!!
