60 Pound Club At Last !!!!

Postby mytime » October 20th, 2005, 10:07 pm

Well I am currently fighting my second bout of Strep Throat and ending TOM but am happy to announce I have lost 60 pounds in just over 16 weeks and entered the 60 pound club today. I am really happy and grateful to each of you who have supported me. The only regret I have is that it took me soooo long to find MF. I have lost 10 pants sizes and frankly cannot believe how truely happy I am. I have been so blessed in my life - did not feel terrible overweight - not that I knew. Have been overweight my whole life- tried a lot of programs to get it off and well after having my 2 children thought I would be smart, attractive and overweight for the rest of it . Well pxxx on that :D Hope I can say pxxx. At any rate I feel terrific. I am so happy I could spit and well I am just looking forward to continuing to feel better by the day. My husband has gone from calling me " Hey Beautiful" to "Hey gorgeous" and the guys at work cannot do enough for me. I have always been very independent so the guy thing is kinda weird - but what the heck if they want to knock themselves out who am I to complain ? It is nice to feel comfortable in my body and to cross my legs for a change. IT IS NOT TOO LATE ... So GO FOR IT and thanks, Mytime

That is so awesome Mytime!!!!!!! Congratulations! In the past, whenever I started getting attention from guys, I would be flattered, but hurt too! Why does my weight have to make THAT much difference to people! But I do understand, most "normal weight" people are repulsed by obesity! Like we LOVE it, NOT!!!!! You are doing SOoooo great! I can't wait to be in the 60# club!!!! The most amazing thing is 10 sizes down!!!!! You must be so thrilled! Do you have pictures for us?
Take care and God Bless,
Judy <><

Mytime - exceedingly awesome!!!! Congratulations on your entry into the 60 pound hall of fame - just don't get too comfortable there.

I've been looking for some old photos too. I never recognized the big old mama in pictures as me, and pretty much destroyed them (that is the few pictures people were lucky enough to capture of me if they could get close enough with a camera to snap one.) Now, I can look back pretty objectively on them since that's not me anymore and wish I had better before pix. (Listen up, all you who are beginning your journey, especially if it is significant - pose now, you'll be glad you did! Medifast, done properly, will erase any evidence of the you you are today.)

Of course, at 55, I'm not a stud magnet anymore (if ever), but I am getting significant attention from one hottie guy I've known for 30 years. I'm having to get used to packing orders for our business with his arms wrapped around my waist (BECAUSE HE CAN). Seems he's having trouble keeping his hands to himself when we're in the same vicinity. (This is not a complaint :D ).

Keep your eyes on the goal and your fingers wrapped around your shakes honey. Something tells me it's only gonna get better - and, like you, having just breezed past the half way point, it's already mighty fine! Can't wait to see what the future holds.
