70 Pound Club for me....PLEASE!!

Postby Gwenski » October 12th, 2005, 9:11 am

I am in shock/happiness/shock/joy/shock/awe right now. I knew I was closing in to ONLY having to loose 100 lbs more. I guess I just figured that would be where I'd weigh in this morning.

So, when the scale said I had 2 whole lbs less that 100 lbs left to loose. I almost fell over and IMMEDIATELY put my contacts in because my glasses may have been lying. AND....to triple check, I climbed on my super digital scale too!!!!!!

It's all true!!!!! The part where my clothes had best enjoy there last days in my possession is a reality that has begun to sink it.

I love Medifast and this Forum!!!

Good for you! :D 70lbs is AWESOME! Doesn't it feel great? I'm closing in on 70lbs myself and can't wait to finally get there.

You're doing fabulous! Keep up the great work and those next 98 will soon be just a memory.

Dear Guest....

I started with the one month starter kit in Chocolate and after the second week was already planning my second order.

Being overly organized, I baggie up all my MF goods when I get them. Then I divide them up into containers with a weeks supply in them.

Each night before I go to bed, I pull out tomorrows baggie to see if I need to make soup or oatmeal in the morning. Making sure I always have my baggie and a shaker jar is good too. I like to make my soup or oatmeal in the morning and put it in a little thermos or container - that way everything is good and hydrated when I re-heat it at work.

I try, try and TRY to get my supplements in every 2 to 3 hours. Sometimes, I forget and go to long and trust me, I know and it hurts.

My friends, family and co-workers are cool with giving me some notice about lunch out and dinners. My friends even ask what they can make when I go over to their houses and I have no problem taking soup or a bar or a shaking if I have already had my L&G for the day.

In my super control world, I get the big frozen chicken breast pack at Costco and split it up right away into indivdual freezer bags. Same with read meats -- in fact......OMAHA STEAKS ROCKS! If you can afford it, you can order the perfect size pork, steak and humburger patties (the chicken is real expensive)....So, all I do it take a bag from the freezer at night and into the fridge it goes to defrost for dinner the next night - -then it is salad or veggies for me! The George Foreman is KING in my kitchen!

I try to eat dinner between 6 and 8 so I can have a shake or hot chocolate before bed....I was having a bar but was advised against them first thing in the morning or right before bed so I am now changing that...

Water is my new best friend with these boards -- don't forget the water -- even if you have to pound it --- JUST DO IT!!

Take time to read the Quick Start Guide and keep going back too it - it will help you -- you can photocopy or make a cheat sheet to take with you too...and well, this Forum is seriously a Godsend.........everyone here gets it and that is so much better than a WW meeting or JC consultant.

Never fear calling MF or asking questions and even if you slip up - just keep shaking and the scale will go down.

Did that help - I hope? Welcome and congrats on making this choice - if you work it and stick to it, you will be so amazed.
