Hi,
I started medifast Monday. Mon/tues I had 100% days with the 5 and 1 plan. then Wed I went off and ate 3,000 calories total. Did better yesterday, went off but not as bad and ate 1,450. I am at 1,500 today and won't eat fo the rest of the day.
I think the 5 and 1 may be too hard for me now and the idea of preparing and eating my real meal is a trigger for me.
I currently weigh 245 and want to get to 125.
I need to lose a lot in the next 6 weeks because I am seeing my brother and other relatives for the first time in 8 years (long story there) and last time I saw him I weighed 170.
I'm wondering if I might have an easier time on the full fast for the next 6 weeks?
Also, what blood tests did you all get for the full fast? My DH is a physician (internist) but not too familiar with medifast. However, he is supportive of me doing whatever I feel is best as long as I consume the minimum of 5-6 supplements a day.
He checked my BP and heart/simple exam and said he would order a complete panel (whatever that means?) Is there something special that your Dr's ordered that I should tell him?
Also,- and I'm hoping someone can help me here- my biggest challenge is I'm a stay at home mom of 4 young kids so there is no way I can avoid food prep or my kids would starve! So I'm in the kitchen all the time preparing snacks etc for them. Thats kind of why I'm thinking full fast may be better. I'm I'm of the mindframe that I won't even take one bite it may be easier than taking a bite here and there.
For a full fast would this work:
4 shakes,
1 soup with medifast crackers
1 medifast bar
I am going to use the 70 shakes because I workout a lot. So it would be a total of 710 calories a day and only eating medifast stuff.
I am so frustrated with how large I let myself get. I was 125 when I got married 9 years ago! And I was thin my whole life until I get pregnant with my first child. I gained 65 lbs with EACH of my 4 kids and never lost it all and now my youngest is 7 months and I am left with 120 lbs of FAT.
Thank you in advance for answering!
