Yes, I heard you can switch easily from the 5&1 to the full fast (6 MF meals/day).

Maybe Nancy can confirm that?

Ivonne-

Sure you can switch but not all the time without monitoring from your doctor.

Every once in a while when you get in a pinch or totally stuck is okay. If you are going to make it a pretty regular habit, please -- call your doc to make sure he is on board with that.

Part of MF is planning and learning to eat regularly. You can switch your lean and grean to anytime of the day. You just need to get used to the planning part which is odd and ackward in the beginning - don't worry, you will get the hang of it in no time!

Hey Hype -- loving your new avatar!

I keep a couple of bars or shakes with me at all times for emergencies - like when my planned dinner doesn't pan out for some reason (like this week, when I totally overcooked something and didn't realize it till I was already at work). Even if I already had a bar that day, I figure a second one is far better than going without or eating something completely off-program.

This is the beauty of this program - if we are in a bit of a rush and open the fridge to discover the cat ate the salmon, the dog ate the ground sirloin and the dish ran away with the spoon, we can have a shake in its place!

Sure, Ivonne, people often have 6 packets on busy days and then bip right back to their regular 5 and 1 Program the next day.

Happy shaking to you!
