PICKLES

Postby Guest » July 13th, 2005, 10:12 am

I AM NEW TO TSFL (MEDFAST) I DO NOT LIKE THE MY SUPPORT PERSON OR THE DR. INVOLVED. I TRIED THE MEDFAST BEFORE AND MY HUSBAND DID GREAT OR I WOULD NOT HAVE TRIED AGAIN. I HAD A HORRABLE TIME THE FIRST TIME I TRIED EXTREME DIRAREAH. QUESTION ADVISOR AND DR HAD EXTRA BLOOD WORK DONE AND COULD NOT GET THE RESULTS FROM THE DR INVOLVED. NO ONE COULD HELP ME THEY SAID IT WOULD PASS. WELL I TRIED BUT GOT BLISTERS THE D WAS SO BAD. I GOT OFF THE MEDIFAST. I WAS USING THE DIABETIC KIND, BEFORE. THIS TIME I TRIED THE REGULAR AND IT IS WORKING FINE. THAT SEEMS SIMPLE ENOUGH FOR SOME ONE WHO WAS SUPPOSED TO BE MY SUPPORT FIGURE OUT.

I have a question and am looking for another place to order from and some support.
The question is I was told by my advisor that we could eat pickles during the day if we got dizzy, light headed or hungry. I realize that the dill pickles are zero calories. Well I have a hard time with the pickle before noon I was wondering if there were any other foods you could eat in place of the pickle.

thanks for your help

Hi Jean -
Soooooo glad to know that you figured out what what causing the D......

This is such a great program -
Ok you can do the pickle - you can also do celery - I like to chop it up and munch on it a little bit at a time.
Also you can have 1 bag of crackers a day.
Also if you are light headed, dizzy or have a headache you can have a cup of boullion -
What day are you on? - that info would also help so advise you more.

In this forum go on the "search" clicky and type in a key word, like "snack" and more ideas will come up

Hang in there - there is a lot of support on this site.

Hi Jean

I too am sorry you have experienced such a difficult time. I just wanted to add a word of caution for you. Sugar free goodies such as sugar free candy, mints or gum can cause diarrhea. You may have a very sensitive digestive system. If so I would certainly avoid the sugar free candies mints and gums. I don't want you to spend anymore time running to the potty -- at least not with that problem. :x :x
