I think the quick start answer would probably be no but me personally, In the beginning I would have 2 BIG cups of sf jello a day a dill pickle spear AND up to three sticks of celery(along with sf mints or gum if I was struggling) That was during the first two weeks. I lost 9 the first week and 4 the second.
Now I still will have, mf crackers, maybe a stick of celery a pickle every couple of days..along 1 pack of the mf crackers and celery. I also have up to 10 pieces total of sf gum and breathsavers. Its what helps me to keep going so its what I do. Not reccommending it but it hasn't seemed to hurt me personally.
I do track everything, snacks and all that goes into my mouth so until your settled into a routine it's something I would suggest doing, it can help if you are having extra snacks on certain days to see if it IS having an affect on your rate of loss.
