Krandle~~Did you try having a couple of pickles? Or what about a little cup of SF Jello?

I think a 3 hour workout might be a little bit excessive. :weightlift: Donna is right, you really need to get that water in. Water is sooooo important to your success. :water:

You can do it Krandle........I know ya can!! :bounce:

Krandle ....I could be totally wrong ...however ....I think a tiny amount of spinach with some broth is a better choice than a cheat... :hmmm: .....now I'm not saying that one can always have spinach & broth... ..that certainly isn't in the book....but maybe on emergency occasions.......

Starving

Postby Jan » May 26th, 2005, 9:32 am

Krandle,
I think your problem was all that exercise!! My sister is a runner -- does marathons -- She had a couple of recent surgeries and gained a little weight about 20 lbs/ Now that she can run again she does her 10 miles every other day. I can't talk her into cutting down a little -- as a result I don't think her body is parting with the fat as quickly and many times she's hungry. I think her body has gone into "self preservation mode :x :x " I know you're trying to starve me and now you're trying to work me to death so I'm not cooperating -- I'm hanging on to everything I have!!) She has managed to lose a little but it's taken some time. DRINK your water it's essential! And try not to exercise quite so much at least now. You can do it!!

WOW, a 3 hour workout? Krandle, do you exercise regularly? If not, then your body was probably screaming for you to give it something!

I agree that having another MF meal or broth or celery or whatever you decide to eat is better than a cheat! I don't usually order the MF fast soup, because I micro 2 bullion cubes in a cup of water and that seems to fit the bill.

You have already lost 90#!! That is fantastic! I would recommend spreading your 3 hour workout into a weeks worth of workouts. It will give your muscles time to repair themselves before you exercise again. It is great that you are exercising, keep up the good work. Just don't overdo it!

Hope you sailed through your HUNGRY DAY, and are doing okay now.

I forgot to ask you if you have tried the new recipe for Robust Tomato Soup (2 pkg soup l2oz water l pkg splenda and l tsp fat free coffee mate) it makes the best creamy tomato soup and its a freebee. ( l big cup/day) Add a celery stick and you have a whole meal when you're hungry -- :D It's GREAT!! I can't rememberr if your're diabetic -- if so I'm sorry no tomato but I'm wondering if the free chicken soup would work?

Hello all
I apologize for taking so long to reply. But when i get off of work at 5 my other day begins at home. I just got out the shower. SO i am sad to say that i have not had any water today. Again. I tried that spring water and didn't really like it. SO i will just put a lemon in a bottled water and go from there.
I agree i have been working out alot, and yes i started working out about a year in a half ago. So my body is use to it. I just started losing weight about eight months ago. Because i did not know i was a diabetic. So i can't have the tomatoe soup? why is that?

Hi Krandle,
You're right you have been exercising a long time!! 3 hrs still seems like an awfully long time. Tomato soup generally has too much sugar for most diabetic programs  If you don't like water you could try drinking the crystal light mix (sugar free) I just tried the ruby red grapefruit today and it was good!! I also drink alot of ice tea -- the caffine doesn't seem to bother me -- I know it is a diuretic -- if thats a problem I think you could make ice tea out of herb tea -- might be good especially with a little splenda.

Krandle ~

You are :weightlift: over-exercising for this weight loss program.

45 minutes is the suggested maximum for people on the weight loss phase.

You are doing 4 times that. :whip:

Water is vital for people who are exercising.

It will enhance the performance of your muscles and keep your heart ticking - drink it. :water:

If you are diabetic, the Creamy Tomato Soup and the Fast Soup are not recommended because these products have more sugar in them - that affects your glucose readings.

I have called you a number of times and left my toll free number...

Many times when we feel hungry, our body is really dehydrated and it is craving water.

Try drinking water at different temperatures – some people prefer it icy cold, others hot or at room temperature.

Water is extremely important.

Medifast is somewhat dehydrating and we must replenish the fluids lost with water.

Your exercise routine coupled with your diabetes and the fact that you are Medifasting = drink water.
