Peanut Butter Cup Shake

Postby smartipantz » July 21st, 2006, 7:56 pm

Yum...... just experimented.

1 pkg of chocolate pudding
6 oz of water
5-6 ice cubes
a splash of sugar free peanut butter syrup (torani or davinchi)

Blend in blender and you have a nice, thick, peanut butter cup shake.

Enjoy :)

I didn't know Torani had SF peanut butter?? I don't find it at Smart and Final.
I think I will try it as I am a peanut butter lover.

I just made one of these. Pretty good. It's a nice change from a regular chocolate shake, but still legal. Thanks!

Sharon-

davincigourmet dot com is their website. I have found a few sugar free flavors of Da Vinci in my Super Wal.... in the coffee section. You might also find Da Vinci (and there are other brands) in a local coffee house...like espresso type place. Some of the other discount stores have them as well.... They are good in lots of things!!!

They sell some at TJ Maxx, too, usually. I've never liked the PB, though, and I LOVE peanut butter. The syrup version tastes nothing like peanut butter to me (so I'd recommend buying only one bottle at first to try it).

I tried it a few different ways, and finally wound up just pouring the whole darn bottle down the sink.

I buy my SF torani at Smart and Final. Although Mellowmon lead me to a great place to get them (which is located in Sacramento - so I'll probably go directly there). www dot syrup2u dot com. They have a deal where you can order any mix of 12 torani and davinci syrups for $60. That's a deal.

Yup, the PB syrup drizzled on puddin' is good, too - try it with the Bananner Puddin' - I call it an Elvis! The only thing is that the puddin' sticks to the roof of your mouth if you use too much PB syrup...

Smarti, you may want to try it sometime with sugar-free almond or hazelnut syrup...

I was at TJ Maxx yesterday, too! I found a different company- Artisan something. I got vanilla macademia nut flavor. The only DaVinci ones they had were french vanilla, a taste I am not all that fond of and hazelnut, but I already had a little bottle of that.

I think I am gonna make some of those frozen oatmeal pudding things with the macademia nut and maybe some coconut.
Don't really care as long as everything's better than yesterday was...
