peabodycat - please be patient with me!

Postby peabodycat » July 7th, 2007, 1:38 pm

please be patient with me! i'm still learning how to navigate around this forum. as it says next to my username, i'm a newbie!!

thanks so much to serendipity for this quote."maintenance is one big plateau..." i've been nervous thinking about my life when i transition back to all food. although it's a long way off, i think about it. i think one of my strategies will be to perform the slowest transition ever! and hopefully, learn new strategies as i go. but the truth is staring me in the face with this quote. "maintenance is one big plateau..." i'll never go back to the way i used to live or eat. and with the success i've had so far, i sure don't want to go back to that way of life. thanks to all who post here! your advice, shared experiences, wisdom, humor have helped me more that i could possibly express. (62 lbs gone! everytime i think of that, i have to do my happy dance!)

SWEET PEA,
Sorry I have missed your journal 'til now.
My mercy, you have lost over 60 pounds.
Just reading some of your posts on the Forum, looks like you have done simply fantastic!
You will certainly be able to do "maintenance" simply by taking it a day at a time just like now.
If you have been noticing other maintainers you will see that it is one big plateau as JO has said, fluctuating a few pounds either way.
But it is doable, and a healthy way to live, which is what we all want for our lives.
PEA, do you have a picture for your avatar, and maybe for the STUDIO?
Would sure love to see it, if possible, but we want you no matter...
WTG, my girl.

you know sweet pea, I really did not want to share my puffed up image of myself either.
But, I found the solution. As soon as I lost 20lbs, then I posted another avatar. After another big loss, another avatar.
Unca T. is a peach and will post them.
I stiil have not posted a full body yet
not brave enuff.
