PB2=Peanut Butter Heaven

Postby rodeomom » October 26th, 2007, 10:54 am

Hey all, I just got the PB2 I won on EBay and WOW! I am in heaven. I know that we are only allowed 2 TBSP as a snack, but I had 1 TBSP on one stalk of celery and YUMMY!

I can't wait to make some chocolate pudding with some PB2 in it.

Anyone who was wondering if the stuff is worth it, take it from a peanut butter junkie - YES!!

This is probably a dumb question, but what is PB2?

PB2 (my new best friend) is powdered peanuts. Basically, it is what is left after they press all the oil out of the peanut. You add 1 tablespoon of water to 2 tablespoons of powder and get reconstituted peanut butter. I added just a smidge of Splenda and it tasted like my favorite regular peanut butter "Reeses". You can also add the powder to shakes and puddings for peanut butter flavoring. On the 5 and 1 we are allowed 2 tablespoons of PB2 as a snack. (54 calories, 2.5g fat, 2.5 carbs)

I'm glad you found something that you enjoy so much!
I bet you'll have no problem with buying the requisite
4 jars from the website from now on, huh? (PB2 = RM's BFF!!)

I agree with you, btw...PB2 totally rocks!
:bananadance:

Ooooh........that banana guy just made me think of adding
PB2 to a choc shake or pudding along with some banana extract.
:tonguelick: Doesn't that sound scrumptious??

Where is powdered peanut better found? Only on eBay, or in the grocery stores? Or do I need to look at health food stores, or Trader Joes? If it is in grocery stores, what aisle am I most likely to find it on?
Thanks

It is available online, but you have to buy it in packs of 4 jars. I wanted to try it first so I bought my first one on Ebay. I am not even sure where to get it online. There have been several other posts on it on MMT. IF you do a search I am sure you will find it.

As far as I know it would keep for a long time if not opened. THAT I will not have to worry about, since it will go fast around here. Charity, you might check EBay - there are decent prices and you can get just one if you want to.
