We are *allowed* up to 30% of our calories on this plan to be from fat, according to nutrition support. Go ahead and ask them if you don't believe me! We are *allowed* to use up to 1 TBSP of oil to cook our food! Me, I've been using a pat of butter instead, sometimes I use a teaspoon of olive oil to fry my zucchini.
I'm shocked that people don't pay attention to nutrition support or what is allowed and still cook their food with Pam, thinking it's better for them. Really, it's not. We do need some fat as I said before, it helps keep our skin and hair from drying out so horribly and it helps us poop!
The Lean portion should be between 245-350 calories, less than 5g of carbs, more than 35g of protein and less than 20g of fat.
Salad dressing should be less than 6g of carbs and fat per 2 TBS.
Less than 30% of our calories should be from fat, which is about 33g of fat for a 1000 calorie diet.
Daily intake of calories should be between 800-1000 calories, more than 72g of protein, between 80-100 carbs but 80-85 is the ideal and less than 2300 mg of sodium.
The protein to carb ratio should be 1 to 1.
