Strawberry ~
The oatmeal is fairly low in sugar (1 gram) as it is approved for diabetics but the double portion could leave you noticing the raise in your blood sugar level, especially after a night of fasting.
I feel that the double packet will not affect your ketosis level.
Strawberry, it is permissible to take a double packet when you miss one but it is not recommended.
If you get up late or get busy and forget to have a packet on time, take one as soon as possible and then have the second one 2 hours later. Once you take your first packet, you may have the rest of the packets a little bit closer together if need be to get them all in over the curse of your day.
We want to think about our food as the amount of fuel necessary for a particular distance or time frame - kind of our prescribed dosage amount. We are learning to eat small portions more frequently to help to maintain an even glucose level. When we eat larger portions than what our body needs, the excess is stored as energy (fat). For weight loss, we want to give our body just what it needs for normal functioning and no extra to prevent storage and to maximize fuel efficiency.
Nothing tastes as good as thin feels...
