Yes, there have been a few times when I've struggled to get ALL the chicken down . . . especially if it's at all dry. Some things that have helped:
- Make sure it's not dry
- Eat slowly (by which I mean, REALLY slowly, sometimes it takes me 30 minutes or more just to finish the chicken)
- Cut it into strips or chunks and mix with the vegetables or salad
Probably the one that has helped me the most is the slow eating. If I stretch it out, I don't get that stuffed feeling that makes it so hard to finish.
