Okay here is a passage from the "Success in a shaker jar" :puter:

If you out of the house without a packet, drink 8oz of skim, low-fat and if nothing else, even whole milk per missed packet. You will get enough protein, and stay in ketosis.

Leaning the hard way...

david began the mf plan needing to loose 100. after 1 month, his loss slowed to 1-2lbs a week....after questioning, he admitted that he took 2 supps together at 6, the 2 together at 6pm. Reluctantly, he changed this routine and began spacing his supps evenly , within one week of changing, loss more than doubled his rate of weight loss.

Steph, you gotta get this book! It's great info to have at hand. I am going to get me one on my next order.

Ok, so I haven't written in the journal in a while now that I am back to work and am exhauseted when I get home. So, here are a few updates.

I started exercising as of last week Thursday, which was my 3 week mark. Christy gave me the Richard Simmons "Sweatin to the oldies" video and I love it! I have done it faithfully everyday, except for this past Saturday which was break day. I am looking for some more videos, anyone have any that they want to get rid of?

A day before I started program, I tried on a dress that Christy had brought me from Hawaii. The tag read 3 X however when I looked at it, I could tell it was about a size 18. (I was a 22) At that time, I tried it on and of couse I didn't fit in it, so we took pictures and used that as my "Official Before pictures". Christy claims there was at least 7-8 inches before it could zip up.

Well, after begining my exercise regime, I decided to try it on on Sunday. Low and behold, the dress fit. Ok, bad choice of words, maybe not FIT, but....I was able to zip it up. Of-couse all of my fat is squeezed into it and pushed all over the place, but hey, I got it on! I was estatic! I will have to post the pictures so everyone can see! I am so excited! Only 3 weeks into program, with almost 20 lbs gone and fitting into a dress that I thought I would wear for Christmas. Not bad huh?

I also had to get rid of some of my work suits because they were too large for me. I gave it to a friend so that I would get it out of the house. I want to get all of my fat clothes out of my house becuase I will never ever wear them again. Cross my heart.

Thursday is official weigh in day. I was 243 last Thursday, so lets see what I will be this week. I am hoping to be in the 30's.

Hope everyone is doing well!

I totally agree about getting the big clothes out. If I gain weight, I want to have only one option and that is to squeeze my fat but into my tight clothes and suffer until I knock it off and return to a healthy lifestyle.

The largest thing I have is a 12 right now  I can not wait to toss them!!!!! Maybe I'll give them to you so you have something that fits you in say, January

I can not stop thanking you for motivating my to see this diet through! :stroll:

Bring em on girl. I know I will be there soon enough. How about I trade you my mother's #$%^@ 8's now that she is in #@%$# 6's. My daughter just cleaned out her closet - I got a bunch of AE stuff that needs to go too.

I agree about squeezing that butt into what you feel you should be in and feeling the pain until you get it off again. That is what I plan on doing!

Ok, so today was official weigh in day for me. Since I started exercising last week, I was estatic this morning to jump on the scale to see how much I weighed. Last Thursday, scale read 243. Today scale read 237! That means goodbye 6lbs! Total weight loss for 4 weeks, 21 Lbs! Yeah Im now in the 20's Club! :woohoo:

My work clothes are getting really big for me. ALthought I bought some smaller suits recently, the majority of them are way to big. Today, people kept admiring me and how much I had lost. They were almost laughing at my pants that were hanging off of me. Feels good to be noticed, but I think that there is only a slight difference. My opinion is that for us larger women, its harder to recognize the weight that we lose untill its a significant amount. Once we hit that magic number, its like BOOM, everyone notices and not just some people. What is the magic number? I dont know, but once I reach it, I will be exploding with joy!

Anyways, off to clean my house. We have visitors over tomorrow, so gotta make sure that the house is spotless. I think I'll put some high energy music and dance while I clean. I ought to burn some calories that way.

Great job! :woohoo: super for you!!! 20 pound is more than some people think. What I like to do is pick up one of our dogs who weighs about 20 pounds and think to myself - I was carrying that around all that time and now it is gone. No dog? Try a couple sacks of potatos next time you go to the store - 10 pounds each - really opens your eyes to your success!

Once again -- GREAT JOB!

Congrats on 20! :-P No one said anything to me until I had lost 60 pounds. I am sure it won't take that long for you-I have a very limited circle of acquaintances.

Hey, that's AWESOME!! Way to go, girl!!! Not to worry, folks will notice soon enough - - and some may notice now and not feel comfortable mentioning it for fear of hurting your feelings. Weight is such a touchy topic.

:boing: Jumping for joy for ya here in HotLanta!

Got up this morning to feed the baby at around 6:15 am. After putting her back to sleep, I did the 8 min Tae Bo video. Ladies and Gentleman, this is the first! I cant beleive that I actually did it before going to work. I am the type of person, who snoozes her alarm 20 times before getting up and if I can get another minute of sleep, I would. I am quite proud of myself.

Off to take a shower and start another week of work. Man, do I wish that I never ever had to work.

Have a great day!
