One week down

Postby Aerie » June 5th, 2006, 10:45 am

Well it's been one solid week on MF. I'm so surprised that I was able to stay on plan with relatively little effort. I was never dying of hunger, though I was certainly hungry a bit at first. I NEVER felt tired or sluggish due to the caloric restriction even with my herculean schedule. I never had a problem eating the food. (Although wouldn't a MF pepperoni pizza taste good :-P --just kidding) I never felt embarrassed about eating my MF or admiting I was on a diet to those around me. Heck, all my "friends" are doing it (that means you guys) and it would have been so much harder to be doing it without this large group of supporters. In one week I have lost over 10 pounds. I have never, even by nearly starving myself, lost 10 pounds in one week. All I did this week was submit to the plan. Not try to find any loopholes or do it one better, or eat less than recomended. I just followed directions and didn't think about it. By gum it worked! I guys the MF people know what they're talking about. MF is truly unbelievable and I am so happy that I have found it and you all. I am feeling confident in my eventual success and although I have a long way to go I feel like I'll be there before I know it.

Thanks for listening.

10lbs is a great start! Isn't funny how 1000 calories will fill you up for a day. But 4 slices of pizza won't at one sitting.

Thanks for listening.

I LOVE listening to that kind of report...especially cause I am just 3 days behind you...started Jun 1.

You deserve a pat on the back...and another clear, cool bottle of water!

That is a picture of my dog Aspen. He's my buddy. I can't wait until I'm fit enough to take him hiking like I used to.

By the way guys I lost another two pounds (magically) overnight. I'm down about 12 pounds in 8 days.

Thanks for listening.

I love to read your posts. We joined this forum at the same time, but you started MF about 1 1/2 weeks ahead of me. Reading your account of your first days calmed alot of my pre-start anxiety. I appreciate your candid honesty about what was tough and what was ok. Now look at you...10.6 pounds gone.
