After a week back on I am down 7 pounds. This board is a huge source of encouragement! Thanks! :-P

How sweet!

Don'tcha love seeing those 7 pounds disappear?

Just keep going forward now, Lissakay. Each day, shake by shake you get a little bit closer to your goal. Then one day, you wake up and Mr. Scale shows you that special number you've been shaking for! Blissfully wonderful day - it makes all the shaking days worth it.

Yes we do! We should plan a get-together this summer -- show off our new swimsuits!

That's a fantastic idea 24K. In fact, what would be even more fun would be to go swimsuit shopping together.......I'm sure we are all going to be giddy like school girls this season.

I wanna meet you, too!

We are planning a little trip to Mouseland, CA Adventure and 6 Flags sometime in June right after the Summer Take Shape For Life Conference - most likely the week of the 26th...

That would be awesome Nancy!! I am planning a trip to Kansas this summer, to paint my parents' house (yippeee), but hopefully it won't be at the same time you are going to be down here. I am literally down the street from Magic Mountain. If you stay in a hotel around there, you'll be minutes from me.

If Magic Mountain has roller barfers, er..I mean, Roller Screamers, Drat! Hmm, I mean roller coasters, Terry will be there. I will be poised on a nearby parkbench watching him and licking a frozen Meditreat!

You'll have to let me know about a nicely priced motel in the area...

A Disneyland Day!

Postby Lissakay » March 4th, 2005, 8:46 am

I live about 35 miles from Disneyland. It would be fun to all go on the same day and get to see each other in person!

We should all be sporting new skinnier bods by then!

Lissa :yay:

6 Flags Magic Mountain -- you go there for the roller coasters. Sorry, Nancy.

Disneyland has gotten pretty d***ed expensive, and California Adventure isn't worth the money, at least, not if you are from California. Of the three, though, I'd choose the Mouse House; while expensive it's always a fun day, It's more fun to go in the off season, though -- no crowds!
