Today marks the end of my first month on the Medifast program. So far, I have lost 33.5 pounds, which is much better than I thought was possible.

While I haven't noticed a difference, I did have a meeting with some people I haven't seen in a few months, and they commented on my weight loss. I'm not really doing this for anyone other than myself, and I've never been someone who has cared that much about compliments or encouragement...but I have to admit, it made me pretty happy.

That's great!! Those comments are well-deserved. Losing that much weight in a month is fantastic! Keep it up!

What an awesome first month!

You mentioned that you can't really tell you've changed that much. Sometimes it takes a little time for our minds to comprehend the loss. I'm sure 30+ lbs has made a significant difference thus prompting the response from your co-workers. You may not be one to fish for compliments, but I'm glad to hear you got joy when they commented on your loss. For me getting an unsolicited response to my loss can make my day. Somehow for me it's validation that this really is working.

Just kidding! I'm THRILLED for you!

I am not doing the program for anyone other than me either, but those compliments ARE nice to hear! I get them more from people who haven't seen me since I started than people that see me every day, so I like seeing people I haven't seen in a while A LOT now!

Way to go! Keep going! You're doing great!
