Off Topic ~ Kinerase Skin Care Products

Postby Arklahoma » June 13th, 2006, 10:06 pm

Anyone using Kinerase skin care products???

The reason why I'm asking is b/c I tripped over the most wonderul product, this evening, and am very impressed with it's performance. I have had extremely dry, scaley lips my entire life. I've tried every lip balm, gloss, medication, etc and no luck. I actually spend a lot of time pulling off dead pieces of skin and they just miraculously reappear. Because I'm still interviewing for my dream job, I'm getting really tired of my lipstick caking up on the dead skin, so I went to Sephora to see if I could find some magical potion and to my surprise I actually did. It's called Kinerase Lip Treatment and it's super-fantastic. In about ten minutes my lips became soooo soft and smooth with no dry, scaley areas at all. It's been about seven hours and my lips are still great. I'm actually quite stunned, as I've never run across a product like this ever. Their products are kind of pricey but I'm considering buying their entire line as I have oily skin/acne and have been seeing a dermatologist for over fifteen years.

If anyone has any personal experience with any of their products, I would love to hear what you have to say. Just trying to get beautified as the weight comes off. :D

Hey there Ark!
I am a product junkie! I have so much stuff! It is truly an illness...but I must say I have never tried this line! I am always looking for good lip care! Gotta take care of the smackers! I will probably check it out! Please let me know if you try the skincare as well!

Never used it. I'm a Mary Kay devotee. It's wonderful when you can find something that works and that you love.

My lips (and nose) have gotten sooo dry since I started MF. I seem to be able to keep the rest of my dry facial skin mostly in check, but not my lips and nose! I might need to go look for this stuff. I currently put four or so different (moisturizing) skin products on my skin every morning. oi.

OOOhhh new products..

Postby Ginabobina1969 » June 14th, 2006, 9:45 am

I haven't heard of it either but I was dx with Excema several years ago and before quitting smoking I had to use elidel daily(which meant staying out of the sun at all pretty much) then once I quit, I was able to only use elidel about 2-3 times a week. Since starting mf I haven't had to use it even once. I do have to be veryyyy careful what lotions I put on my face and neck as I seem to be allergic to most anything with a perfume in it.
I do use daily, Oil of Olay, daily regenerist syrum and facial lotion.
makes my skin go "ahhhhhhh!"

I will most definatly be checking these products out thanks for sharing, Ark. :)

Btw, Speedos!!! Turk, thanks for making me spit water all over my monitor.

Hugs,
Gina

Thanks for the tip Ark. I went on ebay and ordered a sample tube to try out. My lips are terrible I am guessing because of MF. They were find before. That is expensive stuff but the trial tube was only $5.75. I want to make sure it works for me before I buy a big tube.

Thanks again.

I have struggled with flakey lips also. I have never tried this stuff, though. I make my own lip stuff. I just use glycerine and koolaid powder. Put just enough of the powder in the glycerine to make it kind of gritty. The granules will exfoliate your lips AND they taste good. The glycerine just infuses the freshly exfoliated lips with moisture. I usually use either the clear kool aid, or kool aid lemonade. I used cherry once, and although it tasted good, my lips were SO RED!!! Just use a funnel and put it in an old lipgloss tube and VOILLA!!

This entire line of products is wonderful. I am a product fanatic! I have tried practically every name brand out there. Sephora is like heaven to me. Kiehl's has a lot of great stuff also. So does Philosophy and Chanel. I 'm rambling. Kinerase is awesome!!! They have great facial mosturizers as well!

Sorry, Wildtrk, but you WILL NEVER catch me starting a thread on bikini waxing. I'm way too much of a chicken. Laser Hair Removal ~ Maybe, but no waxing.
