OMG 'YALL!
I was the one who cried like a baby because I got on my scale mid week (after not cheating at all) and GAINED weight! I was SO UPSET!
I learned that, for me, weekly weigh-in's are better. I am the type who freaks out over gains or stand-stills and starts thinking 'is this worth it?' ... I hid my scale and we take it out early Sunday morning and I weigh in. That works better for me.
I can tell by the way my clothes fit that I am doing well.
