Oatmeal pancakes...old, but good

Postby sidrah » July 17th, 2006, 11:57 pm

I know it's been posted, but I thought I would revisit it just in case someone missed it.

I made them so easily again today and they were so good I had to share. I might just have these once in a while instead of my L & G as a meal. Definite good breakfast, though.

All I did was mix 2 packets of oatmeal (so I could have some later on, too) with a cup of water, some vanilla some BP, salt, cinnamon, splenda. Pretty much what you might add to oatmeal in a bowl. I cooked 6 of them in some butter PAM.

WHile they were cooking I melted down a spon or so of WF apple butter. All I did was spoon that on top of the pancakes and add some WF syrup. Soooo good. I normally don't like syrup cause it is too sweet, but this was excellent.

WF has a few kinds of jelly, all equally good if you are into those flavors
