Oatmeal "haters"

Postby Ashes » February 2nd, 2006, 12:38 pm

Ok, now I love oatmeal, and the MF oatmeal took some getting used to it. Now I have it every morning. Today I decided to bring one to have for lunch, but I didnt put the two packets of splenda in that I usually do. I couldn't take it.

Point is, try adding some splenda to the oatmeal, if you are like me and like sweets, it just makes it 100% better.

Yes, I know! But, I guess it's good that they don't because in reading all these posts a lot of people are sensitive to sweetness :scratchhead: ... NOT ME! :nana: ha ha

I like to add maple extract & a splenda to the maple brown sugar. And, I add extra cinnamon & mace to the apple cinny. Now, they're my favs.

Oatmeal lover here too!

The peach is out of this world good, even before I add my 2 packets of Splenda, but they do make it oh so yummy!!! I am a fan of maple & brown sugar too, but it needs more brown sugar flavor to me......I think the Splenda folks should work on that one....fake brown sugar in a packet  I'd buy it! I also add a bit of cinnamon to mine, it seems to give it a boost. I think I will try the other 2 flavors next month, unless I can unload some broccoli soup or peanut butter bars for some in a trade ;)

:D

I usually only use one packet of Splenda. Today, I decided to try two, and the oatmeal was so much better. I love the oatmeal though. I can't wait to try the peach.

LOVE oatmea.

I was gonna say, "Huh, someone hates oatmeal?!?!" Not I.

I sometimes add in the cinnamon and splenda or liquid stevia, but when I forget it, I like it just fine that way, too. I have to buy some of this peach flavor. I just traded for some more good very berry whatever that flavor is. Love the apple and like the maple/brown sugar.
I keep a baggie of splenda, tea bags, adn a bottle of cinnamon and M. McCheese in the closet at work just in case I decide to go for something aside from oatmeal that day....

Glad you found a way to get the oatmeal in..it's good for you and taste great

I think Splenda made a brown sugar. Didn't they?

Thx Vicky! Cause if you hadn't said anything I probably would have tried that. You're awesome.
