Ok, 20 on Day 31....can't complain. Even with being a VERY BAD GIRL yesterday afternoon! Going to take some willpower to get through the holiday weekend with my whole family at my parent's vacation home...complete with Dad's birthday (I always make his cake, so I've got to make....and then not eat....a BOMB rumcake!) and Mom's cooking. But I'm determined...not to mention that everyone knows I'm on MF and I'm pretty sure I'll get some looks or some "Are you supposed to have that?" that will keep me in check. I'm amazed I got to 20 pounds because I've had about 4 days of not being on plan very well throughout the month, but the fact that MF actually WORKS will keep me going. I'm not going to let slip-ups ruin and entire day/week or the entire venture on the program. Here's to 30 by July 20!!

Hi Cyndi ! Sounds great !! You can do this weekend, I know it ! I am pretty sure that part of what kept me on plan last week for a bit when my mom was here, was just to prove to her that it can be done ... hee hee. Now I need to prove it to myself !! You are getting me motivated again :). Yesterday was day 2, my hardest day for sure, I got too hungry and couldn't get rid of that feeling, even after my L/G ... I could have hung in there, but I didn't. Anyway, my point is, you are inspiring me to get my act together !! So, cheers to you :). Glad you're here, keep kickin' fanny, all of that :cheers: :cleader:

Well, survived the family weekend and lost 3 pounds in the process. Going good...had a not-so-good afternoon yesterday, though. But, back on the horse. I'm really quite proud of myself in spite of days where I'm not so good with the plan. In the past, I would have just given up all together, but the results don't lie and the fact that I've invested alot of finances helps too. I'm just going to keep moving and watch the pounds lost add up! I know I'm starting to look a little different...especially in my face. My clothes fit a thousand times better, my scrubs for work are no longer tight. I bought a new shirt for Dad's birthday party this coming weekend and it was a button down, in size 1x instead of 2x!! My jeans I'm wearing to the party fit (snugly!) but they're an 18 instead of a 20/22. Gotta love it. Well, I'm off to shake it up.....

Good for you! I fell off the wagon Friday night, Saturday, and part of yesterday and I gained a pound. I had an emotional breakdown Friday night and scarfed down three chocolate chip cookies before I realized what I was doing. Saturday I had rice and three or four glasses wine and I had no veggies at all yesterday. I did run on Saturday and I did 5 miles yesterday and I was down a pound this morning. I am having will power issues, but you are doing fabulous!!! You have much to be proud of and it always feels so good when your clothes stop fitting and begin falling down.

It sounds like you are doing great. Its always nice when clothes fit better!

Bad day Tuesday, but two perfect days Wed/Thurs. Have Dad's big surprise party on Saturday, complete with having to speak, and lots of dancing and people I haven't seen for a couple of years....so I'm determined to drop a couple before then. 4 days of perfection should do the trick!! If we take some pictures, hopefully I can finally post one. Haven't weighed since Tuesday and don't plan to, probably until Sun or Mon so I can see some results. I'm dying to see the 230's on the scale....these last few of the 40's are taking a while!!

Look on the bright side-dancing = the most fun you can have exercising!!! I love to dance, but I am not a big fan of the club scene and I can't get up the courage to join a ZUmba class.
