NSV's

Postby TooManyBooks » July 2nd, 2006, 8:07 am

As I was putting on my (significantly smaller Image ) jeans this morning, I realized even small and/or slow (e.g., my snail's pace LOL) weight losses can have positive effects and contribute significantly toward motivation. I've had both appearance and, most importantly, health related interim motivators. My current non-scale victories:

Cholesterol dropped 30 points!
Jeans two sizes smaller!
Feeling comfortable in pants other than jeans for the first time in years!

I don't post much, but wanted to share that "light bulb" moment :)

That's great! NSV's sometimes for me the best motivators. Keep doing what you are doing and you will see plenty more.
