NSV, and a big one, resulting in more cash outlay

Postby Disney Mike » July 19th, 2006, 10:57 pm

:D

Well, I had a sudden job interview today. I borrowed a pair of 40" pants from a friend and they fit but a little loose. I have another interview on Friday which will be the second one with this group. The first was back on June 9, they will be suprised when I walk in almost 40# lighter than the last time I was there.

Needless to say, I had to stop off and get a few pairs of pants this afternoon. I fit into some loose 38" pants and I had been wearing 46" pants when I began MF. The real suprise came when I put on a LARGE shirt as I have been wearing XXL for the last 12 years. It was pretty sweet.

Thanks for the support, I sure hope this interview goes well. I feel that this would be a great organization to work for and are very stable with much growth in the future.

I have had the shopping bug and made another trip to get a couple of new dress shirts and ties. The wife was very suprised that I was putting on Large shirts and they fit like a champ. I picked up a few things.

Well, I think the interview went well, as least as good as I think it could have gone. Evidently I did very well on some Personality and Intelligence tests that they adminster, considering I am a likeable guy and excell at Math and English, what would one expect, lol.

Anyhow, it went OK, one guy was wound tighter than a banjo string and I could tell he was thinking three steps ahead of my answers, the other fellow was very laid back and more into my answers.

I think I was able to impress them with some past work projects and my daily paperwork that I had in my car.

All in all, it went well. I did receive a repsonse to my Thank You letter today stating that they would be in contact soon. They stated they would make a decision in 3-4 weeks. Sadly, Corporate America moves very slowly.

Keep me in your prayers.

Hi Mike~

So much good news!! Do we get pictures soon, or have I missed them somewhere on here?

You are doing so great! I really enjoy hearing about everyone's success, that's the best motivation for me. So, thank you!

Will you still travel with the new job?

I will still travel but only here in Orange County, whereas I now cover from Nacogdoches to the coast and from Houston to almost Layfayette, La. My region will be roughly 16 miles by 20 miles and now it is 150 miles my about 280 miles.
