Well, I finally decided it was time to post some pics. I'd been promising to for a while. I can see a difference, but I'm not sure it's a huge difference.

This first one is me two years ago when I was traveling 75%. I was at my heaviest ever, around 265. I lost 20 pounds before I started Medifast, but I couldn't really go any lower. It's hard to post this.



And this is me now.



I couldn't decide which picture I wanted to use, and this is me when I visited the Saturn V rocket at NASA Johnson Space Center with my dad a couple of weeks ago. That's the lower third of a F-1 engine behind me, and there are four more engines above my head. Pretty cool.

You look wonderful! You look soo much younger too! You can definitely see a difference. I'm glad you took the plunge with me and posted pics at the same time. I know it's hard to do. But when you're able to look back at your before and afters, you realize that all the hard work was worth it. I just can't wait until I can post after pics like yours! You look awesome!

Thank you, thank you, thank you for all the wonderful comments. You know, I hadn't even noticed my clavicles until Sojourner said something. Heh. My dad was pretty shocked when he saw me, since I hadn't mentioned anything to my parents at all in the last 6 months. I'm looking forward to my mom's reaction when I visit them next week.

I hope these are as inspiring to others, as I found pics of Joelie and others when I was starting. And hopefully in a few more months I'll be able to post finished pics. I am definitely keeping that first pic around to remind myself of where I started and where I never want to go again.
