I finally get to say "after"!!!!!

Okay, first off, I really, really hate my before pic. I look so grumpy, and I had no idea (or was in major denial) that baggy pants did you absolutely no favors. Okay, it's not all baggy pants. I haven't shown these before pics to anyone but my husband. I only kept them on my computer so I could see the difference month to month. I wish I looked prettier, but they're honest. *sigh*

I know I got the biggest kick out of seeing people's transformation, so I hope this inspires others.

People, other than Robin a/k/a Dogma, thank heavens for her, often drift away from the boards after reaching goal. And, yes, what is up with us and the baggy clothes. You know my friends have been begging me for years to ditch the baggy crap and I just thought I looked so cute. Even though my 25lb loss is modest, I suddenly can't stand anything baggy. Its so wierd....they all look so UGLY now hanging on me. I also can't see my progress (under all that loose clothes) which I need for motivation.

I used to live in baggy sweaters and baggy knit pants. I felt better not having anything feel tight. Now, I can't stand to have a sweater that's too long let alone too baggy.....I even have a few sweatshirts that fit and are supposed to be baggy that I don't wear because the new me likes fitted duds. And jeans.....well.....no bags allowed!

I plan to stick around. I have a feeling maintenance will be as difficult, or more so, than the weight loss portion. Now I have to actually make lots of food choices and stick to my exercise plan. And this board is great support.

You look great, Nova!! And I'm with y'all on the tighter clothes. I like my jeans fitted and my tops short enough so you can see my tush! Although I still don't like tucking in my shirts.

I can't wait to read about your journey through transition and maintenance. (Totally selfish of me - I'm hoping to pick up some tips, since you're WAY more into lifting than I am. Or way better at it, at least!)
